The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Hallim Park and Jeju Folk Museum. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Hamdeok Beach and Geumneung Eutteumwon Beach. There's much more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Sangumburi Crater, delve into the lush surroundings at Halla Mountain, tour the pleasant surroundings at Gwakji Gwamul Beach, and hike along Geomunoreum.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Busan Museum and Busan Museum of Art will appeal to museum buffs. Visit Haedong Yonggung Temple and Beomeosa Temple for their historical value. And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Haeundae Beach, stroll through Gwangalli Beach, take some stellar pictures from Taejongdae, and take a stroll through Gamcheon Culture Village.

Fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and bus. Expect a daytime high around 18°C in November, and nighttime lows around 6°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Sat): pause for some photo ops at Seokguram, take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, then contemplate the long history of Royal Tomb of Queen Seondeok, and finally see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Gyeongju Historic Area, steep yourself in history at Cheomseongdae Observatory, explore the activities along Anapji Pond, then pause for some photo ops at Daereungwon, and finally contemplate the long history of Cheonmachong Tomb.

Drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of subway and bus; or take a train. When traveling from Busan in November, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Gyeongju: temperatures range from 10°C by day to 8°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sun) so you can travel to Changnyeong-gun.

Getting from Changnyeong-gun to Andong by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of taxi and train; or take a bus. A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
On the 21st (Wed), enjoy the sand and surf at Jeongdongjin Beach, then stroll through Anmok Beach, and then make a trip to Gangneung Dano Munhwagwan. Keep things going the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Sacheonjin Beach, then stroll through Gyeongpo Beach, then get curious at Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum, and finally steep yourself in history at Gyeongpodae.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Gyeongbokgung Palace and Deoksugung will appeal to history buffs. Appreciate the collections at National Museum of Korea and The War Memorial of Korea. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ). Spend the 28th (Wed) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park.
